Really weird to see a mexican restaurant heavily celebrating St. Patrick's day. Also the music was like top 40s. I found it an odd atmosphere all around. The specials were great for the holiday with 1.50 margaritas and 2 dollar beers, so not much to complain about. The salsa tasted very fresh. I'm sure it was still partially some mix but it tasted fresh and that's all that matters. The nachos al carbon were ok; the shrimp wasn't very good and the queso was watery.

AWFUL SERVICE! If I could, I would give it 0 stars! The food is bland. The service was terrible. The waiter was very rude, and he would never bring the things we asked him for. The prices are ok, but I still wouldn't recommend coming here. Again, DO NOT EAT HERE!

I love this place. Extensive menu, great quesadillas, love the wait staff. I took my parents, who are particular about their Mexican food and they loved it too!

What can you say? It's Mexican food. I'm sure the Americanized version, but if you are craving the basic staples of Americanized Mexican fare it is a good place to check out. They have good salsa for the fresh warm chips. This is a big hit for me since I could do nothing but eat their chips and salsa for a meal in itself. Other than that they have a good and rather large menu that is pretty on par with most Mexican places, and maybe even a few more options than most. Prices are relatively inexpensive as are most Mexican food establishments. Seating is well laid out and most of the booths feel private and are not in high traffic areas. They also have nice outdoor dining if the weather is good, and a bar area with some televisions. All in all a good place to grab the typical enchiladas, tacos, burritos, etc, when you get the craving. I can't say it is anything that is too ahead of every other Mexican place in town, but it is one of the best in the area by far. Good service, good margaritas, and good beer. But be warned that the "large" beer is about a 40+ ounce mug of beer! Good for a night out if you're expecting to have a trough of beer set in front of you! Good review from me and probably one of my favorite Mexican places in the area, of which there are a lot of.

I rarely give a 1 star.... But this place is American as a cheeseburger and I'm betting the styrofoam Togo boxes have more flavor. Very bland, very very bland. No spice at all, and the Sauce on the tamales I got tasted like ketchup and water.

Very clean place. I ate at the bar. Beer nice & cold($2.75) bottle Coors light. I had 3 beers. Combination chicken & beef fajitas was very good and fulfilling ($11.75) these are real Mexicans in there straight from Mexico so they know how to serve their food. Plenty of TVs to watch sports. I watched Duke defeat Gonzaga. The bartenders always made sure I was ok with their service. Very friendly & sociable staff. I suggest that they advertise and promote their place more because they didn't hv many customers. I give this place 5 stars based on my 1 particular order. The chips weren't the best but I won't count against them for that. Bathrooms clean. The remotes to the tv was disgusting so u may want to ask them to clean it if u plan to channel surf yourself.

Started out with Salsa and Chips. Salsa had a twang that never had before. Cheese dip came and had that same twang taste. Thought maybe it's a pepper or seasoning not used to. Then our plates came out. The rice had that same twang taste but in a repulsive way. Sister could not eat her taco. She picked it up and a clear liquid came running out. Gross. Sorry wanted it to be good. Service was great. Place was clean and nice. Food was horrible.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
